Death Reigned

There was a question: Is all the destruction in world the will of God? This is quite an interesting topic. And if you would remember what the LORD said to satan in: Job 2:6  And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. By this it appears that if a man dies, it means that God has permitted it. And I agree that death is a judgment of God. But look here: Rom 5:14  Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. If you remember, the Bible says that death came into the world by the transgression of Adam. But why did death reign only up to Moses? Because death ceased to reign (at least in the house of Israel) when the Covenant of the Law was given to Moses. Because the law, through the sacrifices provided shelter for them against the consequences of sin. Remember the passover lamb. Remember the blood on the door posts o...

There is no Christianity without the Holy Spirit. Shall I say that again?  There is no Christianity without the Holy Spirit.  Christianity is a living thing.  It’s not a religion.  Most of the world thinks it’s a religion but it’s not.  Christianity is the living, pulsating, life of Christ in a human being.  Christianity is the outworking of divinity in humanity.  It is a revelation of Christ in and through you.  Are you hearing this?  It is the everyday walk of God through you among human beings.  Christianity is the word of God alive in human flesh.  This is all so far removed from religion.  When you study your Bible, you not only get information, you get revelation.  And then beyond that, is the fact that that word which you read; which you study in the Bible; the revealed word of God; becomes one with you as you digest it spiritually.  In the same way that the food that you eat; the physical food that you eat be...

We ought to give the more earnest heed

Though it is true that Satan may no longer be able to deceive us: Mar 13:22  For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. We ought to give the more earnest heed: Heb 2:1-3  Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.  (2)  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;  (3)  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Strengthening ROL

There are many doctrines that we do not know about, and some of them I am also just learning right now. But they are not really necessary and I believe that a Christian doesn't need to know all of them because most of these doctrines are actually devices by the enemy. But we must be fully grounded in the truth so that we may be able to test each of these doctrines when they come around. I am confident that we have the Holy Spirit in us and so we know the truth. What we know cannot be wrong because we know whom we learned them from. It may be that we know only a few things, but these few things always align themselves to the truth because we have received them from the Spirit himself. The teaching that “once saved always saved” really doesn't hold and the doctrine easily crumbles at the words of our Lord in the beginning chapters of the book of Revelations: Rev 2:5   Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto t...

Life in the Word

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (Joh 15:7) God works by principles. He built the universe by principles. Everything that exists work by principles. And some of those principles we have already discovered; like the law of gravity and many other physical constants and principles that govern this physical world and the entire universe.  I believe God has set up the spiritual realm in the same manner that He set up the physical world. God has set up spiritual principles so that by them the spirit realm is governed. Well not only the spirit realm but the physical realm as well because the physical realm is subject to the spiritual realm. The Lord has demonstrated that to us when He was here. He multiplied the bread and the fish, He walked on water, He walked through closed doors, and many other wonders He performed. This generation has also seen many miracles through a number of Ministers and Pastors. And a local...

Shout Outs

He stretches out the north over the void and hangs the earth on nothing. (Job 26:7) How could Job know that the earth hangs on nothing? How could he write that way? Has he seen it through vision? That's the ministry of the Spirit: showing us things we have not even imagined. A God sent messenger does not need 15 pages of argument just to prove a point because the Spirit will always say Amen to the truth. It's amazing how that when the Spirit prompts you to lift up your hands, you just lift them up, when He gives you utterance, you just shout it out. The benefits are tremendous! And when you go back to your Bible, it now seems to have a voice that speaks to you. "He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither…" (Psalm 1, 3) Did you notice? Your LEAF, your health, your strength, your marriage, your child, your business SHALL NOT wither. This Word is for YOU today. Blessings, REINHARD...

God Has Empowered Us

No. Christians are not waiting. The Kingdom of God is already come. It is. And we are already in it. We are not waiting for the next life just so we can have our share of the good life. Religion has brought those shackles to our thinking. Religion has made us believe that it is alright to suffer because of the hope of a good life after this one. That is very wrong. God has already empowered us! The life that God wants for us is already within our grasps. And people miss it because of ignorance. God has given Man power over this physical world. We have power to do a lot of things and Man has come a long way so much so that we are now able to change the color of our skin. But more than that, God has empowered us in the Spiritual realm as well! And so yes, we can save a person through a heart by-pass operation; but more than that, we can heal the person even without physical intervention: through the faith of the operation of God! And we can take advantage of it not only at the point of...

What is the Cross all about?

During a Church service I saw in a vision the Cross and light shines forth from the Cross covering the congregation. And I received this revelation about the Church being under the grace of God. When a person comes to Christ, he enters into the grace of God. You see, the whole earth was cursed since the time of Adam. Ever since that time, man lived with a heavy burden upon his life. He was disconnected from God so there was no way that he can come to God. And he has to fight his way through life. He has to battle with his own kind, he has to battle with nature, and he has to battle against all other creatures and animals. The Jews enjoyed a little bit of relief through the covenant of the Law. But that too was just as heavy a yoke as living without the Law. Nevertheless, God rejoined Himself to man so that if they keep the law, they will be blessed. But if they keep not the law, then they would suffer the consequences. And the Law was just too tough to keep that nobody was really ab...

Transcribing Kathryn Kuhlman

"It means something to be a Christian. It means something to be born again. It’s something more than just shedding of your tears. It’s much more than just kneeling down and saying a prayer. This thing of being a Christian is a life; it’s an experience; it’s a day-by-day proposition. And you haven’t really learned how to live; you have no real purpose in life; there is no real purpose for you in living; until you have been born again." "It cost everything. If you really want to know the price; if you really want to know the price, I’ll tell you. It’d cost you everything. Kathryn Kuhlman died a long time ago. I know the day, I know the hour, I can go to the spot where Kathryn Kuhlman died. But you see for me it was easy; because I had nothing." "You can only know His perfect will, and He'll only make intercession for you before the Father's throne, seeking the will of God on your behalf, when you get to a place where you have no will of your own. And...

Exhortations Of A True Apostle

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, ...

Working Out Salvation

Php 2:12-15 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (13) For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (14) Do all things without murmurings and disputings: (15) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;  Just to remove the misconstruction here, ‘work out’ is not synonymous with ‘work for’. The former means to develop while the latter means to earn. Salvation is not earned. It is freely given of God. He made it that way so that no one can boast. But salvation needs to be developed so that we may reap its fruits. Christians struggle with their faith because after that they have received the Lord Jesus they still face the same problems, the same struggles, the same circumstances even long after that they be...

Surrender

One doctrine that only a true believer can understand is about surrender. Surrender is such a powerful, wonderful, awesome experience! It is so awesome only a person who has experienced it can relate to another person sharing it. Surrender is saying, I am yours LORD. And yet it is more than that. It is saying, I am willing to follow, I give my all. And yet it is more than that. It is so awesome, so wonderful, so powerful, when a man's spirit communes with God's Spirit and confesses: "I am yours LORD, I am willing to follow, I give my all." Those are fairly simple words, but if it comes from within deep a man's heart, it brings such tremendous freedom that the inner man experience, and he is translated up into the next level of his relationship with the LORD; our King, our Father, our God. And it brings forth a new revelation that because he gives his all, he gains all in Christ!

Pastor Chris Lectures

"Guard your heart with all diligence (Proverbs 43:23). Be careful what you listen to. When you stop listening to the voice of God, you start making the wrong decisions (Romans 8:14). Don’t expose yourself to just any kind of information. The information you allow in, will determine the state of your heart. Remember, your life will only reveal the information you have on the inside. Let your spirit always remain under the influence of the Word of God". "The Word of God is the answer to all of man’s challenges and life’s crises. It encompasses all the things that you will ever need in your life. It is the only prerequisite for a successful and victorious life. Pay attention to God’s Word, to do what it says and to enjoy all the benefits that have been made available to you in it". "Choose your words carefully; speak faith and not fear. Don’t say a thing just because that is how the situation seems or what everyone else is saying. Stand firm on God’s Word until ...

You were made for life

Life, as God designed it for you, is too valuable for you to miss. There is too much for you to be, to have, to enjoy, to do. To resign or to surrender hope is to sin, to deteriorate, to die. You are Made for Life! That is why this message is in front of you right now. God created you for greatness, for success, for health, for happiness and for fulfillment. Look beyond any facade or mask, and look deep within your heart where you yearn for God's lifestyle. It is there, deep within you. So welcome the voice of love that does not attack and condemn you , but that honestly gives you hope by reminding you that God is there, loving, caring. (TL Osborn)

Blessed to be a blessing?

Did God bless us so that we can be a blessing to others? Just that? Did God bless us so that we can call our brother or sister and say, "Hey come, let's share and enjoy this blessing?" For most Christians, that's all their relationship with God is about, the blessings. We need to learn to take our eyes off from the blessings. We need to see far beyond it! The blessing that God gave us is meant for a purpose. And we should be able to see what that purpose is so that we can appropriate the blessing to that purpose. And that's the reason why people feel empty after that the blessing is ran out because it was misappropriated. As if nothing happened. Because indeed, material blessings are simply consumed. God calls us to offer up ourselves as living sacrifices; to continue His work. Christians ought to grasp the Apostle's Doctrine that to live is Christ and to die is gain. It is when we die that we gain. And while we still live we ought to work. It is no longer...

Give me Jesus

There is a song by Jeremy Camp that goes, "You can have all this world, just give me Jesus..." Such strong words but can we really? We sang it several times in church but can we really give up everything for God? What would you give up for God? Your job? Properties? Loved ones.. Abraham was willing to give up his one and only son. The rich young ruler on the other hand declined to give up his wealth. But how about us, how far can we go with God? Can we give, and give, and give until there is nothing to give? And all that remains is just us and God? The truth is, in the end it will just be between us and God, all other things or persons will not count. And so God says, what profit will it be for you if you gained the whole world and lose your soul. It should be clear to us that God does not exist for mankind but it is mankind that exist for God. It is not us who have something to do for God but it is God who has something to do for us. And our attachments to th...

Abundance and Need

Material resource is important because it is the mechanism that allows us to accomplish things. And so if we don’t have money we cannot move. If the ministry didn’t have the money, it cannot move. We wouldn’t even be here if we didn’t have the money to spend for the transport. In fact we are working abroad because the money here is better than back home. And so money is important. However, we should not be too concerned about money that it becomes a struggle already. Struggle with money is a trap by the Devil. And you will know when the Devil has caught you because everything will become heavy for you. And that’s where Satan wants you, he wants you burdened with all the troubles, with all the cares of this world. And getting out of that does not require that you get more money. Because you will get trapped in that situation again the very next time money runs out. And people tend to fight it by saving in the bank. That will not work. Why? Because trouble is gonna come. ...

Victory belongs to you.

For it is written, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Rise up! And take the challenge of your time, and walk in the victory of your Lord. For the victory belongs to you and it was wrought long ago, but it belongs to you. Walk this world with a shout of a king in your midst, sayeth the Lord. For thou art mine and the world belongs to you. So sayeth the Spirit of God unto you. (Excerpt from Priesthood and Sacrifice – Pastor Chris)

It is by grace through faith, not of works..

The Apostle Paul has constantly and strongly advocated this to the Jews because the Jews found it hard to get out of that mentality in the Law that unless they perform according to the law, there will be no blessing. And religion has taught us that too. Religion has taught us that we have to work for our own salvation. That we have to earn it by good works.  And so for many Christians it is hard to get out of that mentality also! On one hand Christians believe that they are not going to hell because they receive the salvation of the sacrifice of Christ. But on the other hand, they work their butt off to earn a living, and are most cautious not to misappropriate even the smallest portion of their hard earned pay! I find that ironic.  We receive salvation by faith but the prosperous life that comes with it, we want to earn by the works of our hand. We subscribe to financial management more than to God's promises. But how far can you get with financial management? Say you have...
