Let: a = 1 b = 1 Then: a = b Square both sides, we get: a^2 = b^2 Move them to the left, we get: a^2 - b^2 = 0 Factoring (a^2 - b^2): (a-b)(a+b) = 0 And dividing by (a-b): (a-b)(a+b)/(a-b) = 0/(a-b) Simplifying: 1(a+b) = 0 Or simply: (a+b) = 0 Therefore: 1 + 1 = 0 Some people are like that with the Bible. Logical, but false. But you know it is false only if you know that 1 + 1 is not equal to zero. II Timothy 3:13: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. First you will find the way, then the truth, then you will find life. Life is the ultimate destination.
