What is the Cross all about?

During a Church service I saw in a vision the Cross and light shines forth from the Cross covering the congregation. And I received this revelation about the Church being under the grace of God. When a person comes to Christ, he enters into the grace of God. You see, the whole earth was cursed since the time of Adam. Ever since that time, man lived with a heavy burden upon his life. He was disconnected from God so there was no way that he can come to God. And he has to fight his way through life. He has to battle with his own kind, he has to battle with nature, and he has to battle against all other creatures and animals. The Jews enjoyed a little bit of relief through the covenant of the Law. But that too was just as heavy a yoke as living without the Law. Nevertheless, God rejoined Himself to man so that if they keep the law, they will be blessed. But if they keep not the law, then they would suffer the consequences. And the Law was just too tough to keep that nobody was really ab

Spirit, Soul and Body

We go back to what we learned in our Bible Studies. We are a three part being: spirit, soul and body (1The 5:23) . I like to think of it as faculties. The body is the faculty that we use to function in the physical realm. We move about and perform activities in this physical world with our body. Our mental faculty is included there because the mind is the ultimate destination of our physical senses.  The soul is the faculty of our person. The soul is the me, myself, and I. The soul is the faculty that expresses the state of that person whether he is angry, happy, downcast, excited, etc. When God breathed into Adam, he became a living soul (Gen 2:7) . He had his own person, separate and apart from the person of God. And that living soul has the capacity to multiply. God also has a soul (Lev 26:11, Isa 42:1) . The spirit is the faculty that we use to function in the spirit realm. The spirit is the faculty that discerns the things of God. The natural man, meaning the faculty of the

Transcribing Kathryn Kuhlman

"It means something to be a Christian. It means something to be born again. It’s something more than just shedding of your tears. It’s much more than just kneeling down and saying a prayer. This thing of being a Christian is a life; it’s an experience; it’s a day-by-day proposition. And you haven’t really learned how to live; you have no real purpose in life; there is no real purpose for you in living; until you have been born again." "It cost everything. If you really want to know the price; if you really want to know the price, I’ll tell you. It’d cost you everything. Kathryn Kuhlman died a long time ago. I know the day, I know the hour, I can go to the spot where Kathryn Kuhlman died. But you see for me it was easy; because I had nothing." "You can only know His perfect will, and He'll only make intercession for you before the Father's throne, seeking the will of God on your behalf, when you get to a place where you have no will of your own. And

Stepping In To The Kingdom Of God

The Kingdom of God is already come, and Jesus Christ is the door to the Kingdom. And faith is the action that we take to enter that door. Faith is an action word. "By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." Faith gets us access into the grace of God. The moment we believe, we step into and access the Kingdom of God. Now we often speak about Christ in us. Letting Him come into our hearts and be Lord of our lives. But that's just half of the story. We must also be in Christ. "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.." And it is faith also that gets us in Christ. Now Christ is the Word of God. So entering Christ basically means that we enter His word, the Bible! The Lord said, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." It's like stepping into a raft by the river and the raft is taken by the current to wherever

Let Me Show You Something

(Heb 11:3)  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. There was a time when man believed that the atoms are the building blocks of matter. And then they found out that they can still break up the atoms into subatomic particles. Now they found out that these sub-atomic particles may still be broken up as being made up of "strings." Look up the "String Theory" on the web. The image below was taken from Wikipedia - the free encyclopedia. : ) Levels of Magnification: 1. Macroscopic level - Matter 2. Molecular level 3. Atomic level -- Protons, neutrons, and electrons 4. Subatomic level -- Electron 5. Subatomic level - Quarks 6. String level As we increase the magnification further and further, we can believe that Science will never see the end of it. Why? Because the Bible says that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appe

Exhortations Of A True Apostle

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints,

The Prayer Station

Prayer is a big word. But most Christians understand it as synonymous with request. And that is how the secular world understands it also. In fact in court litigations, when a Lawyer submits his affidavit or the counter affidavit, they include a section there which is entitled the Prayer clause. And it is written there the remedy that the Affiant seeks the Court to rule in his favor. And prayer is easily understood in that light. And so we come to God to ask for something. When we don’t have anything to ask, we don’t go to Him. And that’s basically the prayer life of most Christians. Mat 20:20-21 Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came up to him with her sons, and kneeling before him she asked him for something.  (21) And he said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom." The Lord’s only answer is, You do not know what you ask. Because we have a wrong

Working Out Salvation

Php 2:12-15 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (13) For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (14) Do all things without murmurings and disputings: (15) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;  Just to remove the misconstruction here, ‘work out’ is not synonymous with ‘work for’. The former means to develop while the latter means to earn. Salvation is not earned. It is freely given of God. He made it that way so that no one can boast. But salvation needs to be developed so that we may reap its fruits. Christians struggle with their faith because after that they have received the Lord Jesus they still face the same problems, the same struggles, the same circumstances even long after that they became

Faith Must Produce Results

Faith must have results for the word of God are not merely words, they are spirit and they are life. Christians ought to be results oriented not only in their worldly chores but more importantly with regard to their faith. Faith without results is dead. Yea. I truly believe that. I just cannot accept that a Christian can die of Cancer. That is not just compatible with the Gospel. I refuse to accept it, it is not from God. A Christian cannot be sick for Christ lives in him and Christ cannot be sick. But why do Christians get sick? There must be something that we do not know that's why we still fall to sickness. The Lord said, "The spirit is willing but the body is weak." But why is the body weak? And if it is weak, can we strengthen it? I believe it is only through the word of God that we can answer these questions. And so we must constantly, diligently search the Scriptures. One thing I am certain of, the body is weak because we have fallen far away from God. God is

No More Medicine Man

It was fun how this revelation came to me. Most of the people in our Church know that when I get sick, I don't take medicine. Just water, rest and declaration of the word of God. It's not that I have anything against medicine, it's just where my faith is. And all through those few times that I got sick, I did recover. And my recovery was even much faster than when I used to take meds. And by the way, as far as I can remember, I never had been sick since Gab was born, which means that is about 2 years already. Gab's turning 2 in April. Normally, I would get really sick at least once in a year. And so I was meditating whether it is really right not to take medicine? Medicine does help. But which is better, not taking medicine or taking medicine? I was asking myself, if Jesus came to give us life and He came already and He is now back to where He was from, then His purpose for coming here was already accomplished, for He cannot fail. (I got into this line of thinking f

Don't Exchange The Truth For A Lie

Don't exchange the truth for a lie. The Word of God is true, don't exchange it for whatever else. Anything that doesn't match up to the word of God is a lie. To exchange the word of God for something else is a grave sin. That was the grave error that Adam and Eve had committed. God said that if they eat the fruit of the tree, they will surely die. The devil said, they will not surely die. They decided to go for the devil's word instead of God's word. Therefore the history that we all know. God said to Joshua:  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  When we hold on to the truth of the word of God, the natural result would be our success! And that is really the purpose of that book. To tell us what to do; to lead us in the way of life, of prosperit
